Digital Transformation with SAP Business One

Perfect Business Solution Services (PBSS) Group hosted a workshop on Digital Transformation with SAP Business One at the Taj Samudra Hotel Colombo, recently.

Top officials from SAP Business One participated in the workshop along with over 100 industry related potential customers and the PBSS top management. The participants were given an overview of SAP Business One, how it enables companies of all sizes function smoothly like never before. The workshop discussed as to what was unique about SAP Business One and its successful applicability in Sri Lankan business models as a compact business solution stack.

The SAP Business One version for SAP HANA and its benefits were shared with the audience elaborating on how it lets the user take advantage of the latest advances in in-memory computing technology for analysis and reporting. SAP Business One mobility solutions were also discussed describing how its mobile application provides real time access to data which the user can easily navigate, respond to and trigger remote processes.

Mitesh Gandhi, Head of SAP Business One and SAP Business ByDesign, Indian Subcontinent, SAP at his presentation said apart from supplying business applications, they also provide the technology for its successful implementation. Shashi Kumar, General Manager SAP South Indian Sub-Continent and Sri Lanka, told the audience that PBSS has been a committed partner and very strong in their process of implementing the product to their customers.

He said SAP Business One has evolved beautifully over the last 20 years and had over 70,000 customers worldwide with 7,000 customers in the Indian Subcontinent, which includes India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. PBSS is a fully Sri Lankan owned group of companies with over 17 years’ experience in the IT industry which consists of two clusters, IT and leisure. It caters to the needs of a clientele of over 700. The Group’s global operation has been expanded to the Maldives and UAE.
